My First 2010 resolution is now started- A Blog

Hi ....

I am proud of myself, this is my first ever paper-crafting, mainly card-making, blog. I made this 1 of my New Year resolutions, because I plan on venturing out some this year- hope to be accepted on a DT of a store/company I really love. I have been making cards since 2005, and find it to be my Therapy- so to speak. I am usually able to relax and just have fun making something special for someone or charity I care about. I am married to a wonderful Man that encourages me alot, and mother to a wonderful 23 month old son that we were lucky enough to adopt at birth. He is the most wonderful lil boy I have ever met! I could not be more blessed!

I have a few other New Year Resolutions in regard to paper-crafting this year:

1- A Blog (starting this one now... )
2- doing 2 Challenges at SCS a week & also participate in the Christmas Challenge all year long, and also the the Stamp 2 Spend Challenge.
3- Get accepted onto a DT of a wonderful company that I love.
4- Submit at least 3 cards into magazines .
5- Finish reorganizing my New Craft Room (I am about 70% done).

I know there were a couple more, but I can't find my list right now.

Christmas was great this year: I was lucky enough to get my first 11 sets of Nesties, a Scor-Pal Ultimate Kit, Gina K Design Paper and My first stamp set from her, couple CB dies and Folders, and a few odds & ends stuff. I do hope to make a larger purchase with Gina K for stamps and more Nesties but right now...money is tight...

I did start my Stamp to Spend Challenge at SCS and this is how I set myself up:
--$1.00 per card unless it is something really awesome then it is $2.00/ Right now I have made 3 cards equal to $3.00.
--$5.00 to alter items / right now I have Altered 2 containers to use on my craft table... equals $10.00
--$15.00 for every 1/2 hour Yoga routine finished... no $$ for not completing the 30 minutes.
--$20.00 for every 2-4 posting here on my blog. 2 must include card designs and supplies used,
extra for tutorials maybe.

I am sure there is more, but I am drawing a blank...

More later...
